Expanding SaraPath into the 21st Century

Tuesday, August 7th, 2012

Illum & SaraPath Diagnostics have had a wonderful long term working relationship through Illum’s advertising & design department. Illum has worked with SaraPath on everything from corporate identity redesign to presentation portfolios to direct B to B print material to restructured website & all internal operations’ forms.

“Now with the medical business becoming more & more competitive, with laboratories popping up in many small towns & communities, it was time to move SaraPath into the multimedia realm of advertising.” states Illum’s creative director, Jerry Chambless. “SaraPath needs to be competitive & we need to bring something extra to the marketing table that they have never ventured into before.” SaraPath Diagnostics, one of the largest, privately owned pathology companies in SW Florida, has been operating for over 70 years & operated with an old school approach to self-promotion. It has only been in the last few years that SaraPath has been open & willing to move into an external growth & expansion of its clients, services & reach.

With SaraPath’s latest marketing endeavor, Illum Productions has brought a multimedia plan to SaraPath; one that can be used in various scenarios maximizing the rate of return. Starting with a request for a slide presentation, Illum came back with a multimedia expansion on the theme. Illum would build a Prezi-style presentation that would move the initial conference presentation idea away from a static slide routine & into a more dynamic parallax 3d motion based multimedia video that could be built & then augmented to fit the needs of the various disciplines that SaraPath operated in.

The idea would be to house division “legs” around a core “general information” wheel, About SaraPath & then when necessary, turn on whatever division was needed for the presentation & turn off what was unnecessary. Additionally this video presentation could be re-constituted for use on the new website, for physician discussion panels & for B to B marketing maximizing the lifespan & usability of the project. “Both SaraPath & Illum are excited about this new project.” commented Jerry. “It allows us to work in the discipline that promotes Illum’s talent, utilizes a concept of multi-directional marketing & it expands our client’s awareness to new media & heightens their competitive edge.”

Presentation for Saudi Arabia & Mile

Tuesday, August 2nd, 2011

Mile, a non-profit organization in Saudi Arabi,a has asked Illum to partake in designing a new look & visual style to their successful corporate entrepreneurship seminars titled PALM. The company wants to expand their cooperative reach into multiplemarkets & feel that a fresh style would enhance their market demographic.

The Madinah Institute for Leadership & Entrepreneurship (MILE) is a leading CorporateSocial Responsibility Program dedicated to enhancing leadership capacity & entrepreneurial excellence in the Middle East, North Africa, & Asia. Strategically located in the Madinah Knowledge Economic City of Saudi Arabia;MILE is a non-profit organization sponsored by the Savola Group that has grown into a collaborative initiative attracting participation from global busines sschools, academic professors, management consulting organizations & professional associations.

Should the project be accepted, Illum would spearhead the organization’s complete video marketing endeavors. This would include all video presentations for the corporation, their conference programs, media center libraries & possibly promote live switching into their events expanding their internet reach both to the East & the West. “This would be a wonderful collaboration between our companies & our resources, stated Jerry, our creative director. The Middle East is growing exponentially & we would be honored to be able to assist in Mile’s expansion.”

Sunscreen Film Festival

Thursday, May 7th, 2009

Click Clack Jack was selected for screening at the Sunscreen Film Festival (SSFF), St. Petersburg in Bayside Muvico Cinemas.  Opening night was a lot of fun; we were interviewed by the Tampa Bay Informer, watched Passenger & spoke with actor Patrick Wilson.  Another actor, whom you won’t find any humbler, was Bill Cobb.  He was amazing to speak with & showed great interest in the young filmmaker’s speaking to him.  Keith, Ryan & I also had very encouraging discussions with Producers Dave Anderson & Phil Cooke about our project.  Many are asking when the next two installments are going to happen now that CCJ has distribution.   Thanks again to everyone who came out & supported the film!

The Sunscreen Film Festival has encouraged the creation & production of independent film in Florida since 2005.  THE SSFF has the specific objective to promote works by filmmakers by conducting educational programs that teach the art & science of film making.  Created by Tony Armer & Derek Minor, SSFF is working to increase the public’s awareness & support of local film making as a local asset.  Going into its 5th year, the SSFF has qualified to be the first film festival in the Clearwater/St. Petersburg area for an Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences grant.  This will allow short film maker winners to become eligible for Oscar consideration.

Click Clack Jack was shown at the venue, Bayside Muvico Theatres on Saturday, May 2nd at 11:00 a.m.  We had a decent size audience & many showed great support!  The closing ceremony & awards presentation party was immense fun.  The crew was able to re-connect with many of the film makers we had befriended earlier in the festival & discuss future projects & possible collaborations.  Jeffery Donovan was there from USA’s Burn Notice making the rounds & talking with many of the crowd.  We are looking forward to the future of Click Clack Jack.

Great Turnout for CCJ at GIFF

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

Click Clack Jack had a wonderful turnout for the screening at the Gasparilla International Film Festival (GIFF) in Channelside Cinemas.  The film translated amazingly on the Digital Theatre System Channelside runs.  We could hear all of the kids who were watching cheer for our hero & laugh at the Baron’s thugs.  Everyone seemed to have a good time.  Ryan, Keith & I held a discussion after the film & received many great questions & kudos on our work.  Many wanted to know when the next film for CCJ was to come & we reassured everyone that it’s being worked on as we speak.  Click Clack is having a great run in the festival circuits including the Macon Georgia Film & Video Festival (MAGA) which ran from February 19th to the 22nd in historic downtown Macon.  Thanks again to everyone who came out & supported the film!
