Discussion Panel with Front Row Tampa Bay during the RNC

The Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota, in cooperation with Front Row Tampa Bay, has asked our VP/Creative Director, Jerry Chambless to be part of a panel discussion during the Republican National Convention (RNC).  The panel’s purpose is to give an up-front & personal account of having their businesses operating in Sarasota, relations with local businesses & educational organizations such as Ringling College & what type of economic impact it has with business, lifestyle, culture, etc., in this region as well as all of SW Florida.

The segment, titled Sarasota Innovation Panel, will feature Dr. Larry Thompson of Ringling College, Pat Redmond, CEO of Tervis Tumbler, Jeff Hazelton, President of Lucid Global & Jerry Chambless, VP & Creative Director of Illum.   Innovation & key partnerships will be the topic as well as decisions to head quarter the unique businesses out of Sarasota County & what opportunities that may hold for the businesses.  Jerry stated that he was honored to have been asked to represent Sarasota’s businesses & looked forward to expanding awareness to all that Sarasota has to offer.

Front Row Tampa Bay is built around the Republican National Convention, to promote regional & Florida businesses while giving business leaders prime meeting & networking opportunities around this unique event.  The four day programming event will be live-streamed to targeted influencers & business interests across the nation.  Programming will include focus on the key business sectors & leaders from Florida & Tampa Bay, commentary from top political leaders & a look at life in Tampa Bay and Florida.

Presentation for Saudi Arabia & Mile

Mile, a non-profit organization in Saudi Arabi,a has asked Illum to partake in designing a new look & visual style to their successful corporate entrepreneurship seminars titled PALM. The company wants to expand their cooperative reach into multiplemarkets & feel that a fresh style would enhance their market demographic.

The Madinah Institute for Leadership & Entrepreneurship (MILE) is a leading CorporateSocial Responsibility Program dedicated to enhancing leadership capacity & entrepreneurial excellence in the Middle East, North Africa, & Asia. Strategically located in the Madinah Knowledge Economic City of Saudi Arabia;MILE is a non-profit organization sponsored by the Savola Group that has grown into a collaborative initiative attracting participation from global busines sschools, academic professors, management consulting organizations & professional associations.

Should the project be accepted, Illum would spearhead the organization’s complete video marketing endeavors. This would include all video presentations for the corporation,their conference programs, media center libraries & possibly promote live switching into their events expanding their internet reach both to the East & the West. “This would be a wonderful collaboration between our companies & our resources, stated Jerry, our creative director. The Middle East is growing exponentially & we would be honored to be able to assist in Mile’s expansion.”

The Wedding Book

Illum is partnering up with Studio 26 Weddings to produce a commercial for the Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival.

The commercial will consist of animated elements that create a wedding flip book. The flip book will house multiple images of various wedding festivities, cakes, couples & outdoor fun while informing the viewer of the 4th Annual Festival.

The commercial will air over several local cable channels across Southwest Florida.

Gas America Services Incorporated is teaming up with Illum Productions to expand their commercial broadcast initiative.

Gas America is family owned & has been operating in the Indiana & Ohio core since 1916 with 89 locations.  They are looking to expand even further into their demographic & through a series of broadcast commercials they hope to achieve their goal.  Illum was asked to put a fresh spin onto their identity by converting it to 3d & animating the identity for their multimedia branding throughout their broadcast & web production initiatives.

The company hopes to release their commercials by the end of the year.

Goalkeeper Training Media wins Telly Award

Jerry’s creativity, direction and visual effects on Goalkeeper World’s international training multimedia training DVD have earned us an international Telly Award. “It is a wonderful feeling to see your work recognized by industry professionals. Remo the Remote Mascot

 Illum has been awarded a contract with Reac TV, a broadcast company out of St. Petersburg, Florida, to create a CG animated mascot resembling the station’s proprietary remote control unit.  The mascot, REMO, will be utilized in interactivity with audiences participating in the broadcast channel’s on-TV gaming network.

REMO will be helping audiences with game tips, questions & answers and a variety of announcement-type advertising. Illum Productions is proud to part of this production.
